Background
The Australian Government is continuing to reform the national aged care service system.
On 1 July 2024 the way in-home and community aged care services are funded and delivered will change.
It is important that our clients and community is aware and informed about the aged care reform and what those changes mean for older residents now and in the future.
Swan Hill Rural City Council invites current aged care clients, carers and interested community members to attend an information and engagement session to hear about the Commonwealth Governments National Aged Care Reform and to ask any questions about what these changes may mean for you.
These sessions will also provide an opportunity for Council to hear what is important to you to live and age well in our community. Your feedback will assist Council in its future planning to support all people to remain active and valued members of our community.
To book into one of the three sessions please submit your details, to the right of this screen. Alternatively, you can call the office and register your attendance on 5036 2333.
