Swan Hill Rural City Council (Council) gives notice under Section 115 of the Local Government Act 2020 (Act) of its intention to enter into a lease of Council-owned land with a proponent at Part of the Swan Hill Aerodrome, 190 Back Boga Rd, Swan Hill VIC 3585.

Details of the proposed lease are as follows:

Lease Area: 196 square meters (land only).

Term: 10 years with two further terms of 10 years

Permitted Use: Aviation purposes including aircraft hangar, flight training operations, and associated aviation activities

Commencement Rent: $745 per annum

A person may make a submission on the proposed lease. Submissions must be received by 11.59PM on Friday, 24 July 2026.

Any person who requests to be heard in support of their written submission is entitled to appear in person, or to be represented by another person before Council at a time and date as determined and advised by Council.

Following the consideration of any submissions, Council will decide whether to grant the lease.
