Let's talk about the Nyah/Nyah West Masterplan
Community consultation is now open
Calling all Nyah and Nyah West residents and community members - have your say on the future of the Nyah Riverfront and the Nyah West Community Park.
The three key areas for the masterplan are the Nyah Recreation Reserve, AN Lewis Park and the Nyah West Community Park.
The complete Draft Nyah and Nyah West Masterplans can be downloaded from the Document Library to the right of screen.Key considerations of the concept designs include (but are not limited to) are:
Nyah
- Connective pathway
- Public shelter
- Playground
- Connection to the river
- Landscaping - shade
- Low maintenance and sustainable areas
- Public art
Nyah West
- A new public amenity facility (toilet block)
- A new community gathering space such as a multi-purpose stage/platform
- Connective concrete paths to existing assets including the barbecue shelter and playground
Hard copies of the masterplan will be available at the Nyah West Pharmacy and the Nyah General Store.
