We are delighted to present our community with our Draft Council Plan and Community Vision 2025-29, that incorporates our Municipal Health and Wellbeing Plan - for your review and feedback.

Council has listened carefully to residents, businesses and community groups about what matters most and where efforts should be focused.

This Council Plan sets out clear priorities and actions for the next four years. It has been shaped through extensive community engagement and designed to balance the opportunities and challenges of a growing regional municipality. From supporting local jobs and strengthening liveability to protecting the environment and delivering high-quality services, this Plan aims to guide our Council’s work in a way that is transparent, practical and ambitious.

To prepare this Council Plan, we combined robust research with extensive community engagement to ensure this was a Plan that reflects our community aspirations and priorities. Through surveys, workshops and consultations, we connected with people from right across our municipality. These conversations helped surface the values, concerns and aspirations that matter most to our community.

More than 500 community members were directly involved in structured consultation activities.

We are committed to delivering these priorities together and we extend our thanks to everyone who contributed ideas and feedback to help shape this process.

This consultation will be open until Tuesday, 2 September 2025.
